Freight: All shipments will be shipped collect
to your location, or prepaid if drop shipped to your customer. Some of
the carriers that we deal with do not accept third party billing so we
will add the freight to your invoice. If you get a substantial discount
from a particular carrier, please let us know and we will attempt to ship
with that carrier, if they are willing to pick up the freight.
All prices are F.O.B. our dock San Luis Obispo,
Calif. Poles will be invoiced at time of shipment and, if on an open
account, are due 15 days from the invoice date. The shipping carton
has been inspected prior to sealing. Any shortages must be reported within
72 hours of arrival.
The flagpole shaft will stain if allowed to remain
in contact with wet or damp wrappings. If there is any sign of dampness
or contact with water during the shipment, you must note it on the freight
bill and immediately unwrap the shaft and dry, if the shaft is to be stored
indoors it may remain in its container, provided it remains dry and shows
no signs of having been exposed to moisture. The shaft must be propped
off the floor if it is to be stored on concrete.
Any freight claims are the responsibility of the
end user and the carrier. Any and all shipment must be inspected upon arrival
for damage or shortages. All returns must be approved in advance.
Extreme care must be exercised when installing
flagpoles near overhead or underground utility lines. We will not
be responsible for improperly assembled flagpoles, or parts, which are
not securely attached. |
