West Coast Flagpoles

Specializing in the reproduction of historical wooden flagpoles with genuine Venetian Entasis Taper. All of my poles are built with hand selected, vertical grain Douglas Fir and laminated with the highest quality marine grade epoxy available. This lamination process makes a lighter, stiffer pole and allows enough of an opening to use my optional internal halyard system. This combination of todays technology and the classic entasis taper developed by early Venetian craftsmen is not offered by other wooden flagpole builders. My product is not only unique it is the most historically correct, longest lasting, and best looking flagpole available and I'm sure you will agree.

Look at my image page to see the difference. I build all of my flagpoles from start to finish myself and I pay very close attention to detail. Nothing is compromised from the first finger joint to the final coat of paint and I think it shows in my finished product.

Below is a basic guideline of the dimensions and pricing for poles that I'm likely to have in stock. Custom poles and projects are always welcome. Call (805)-459-7905 or email to discuss your special project and I'm sure I can offer you a better product at a better price than any of my competitors.

The flagpole shaft will stain if allowed to remain in contact with wet or damp wrappings. If there is any sign of dampness or contact with water during the shipment, you must note it on the freight bill and immediately unwrap the shaft and dry, if the shaft is to be stored indoors it may remain in its container, provided it remains dry and shows no signs of having been exposed to moisture. The shaft must be propped off the floor if it is to be stored on concrete.
